Nuclear Technology in Iran
The thought of building Iran Nuclear Program started in 1950 a time when Shah of Iran got a technical help from US and saw it wise to improve the understanding they had received from a foreign land. The assistance the US was giving Iran ended in 1979 but the country was still interested in improving its nuclear technology and develop an extensive nuclear fuel cycle that would be including the enrichment capabilities which became an intense subject in most international negotiations. In the year 2005 to 2015 the state was in a all-inclusive contract that would be controlling the nuclear capability in Iran This made all the nuclear related sanctions in Iran be lifted because of the main metric of meeting the deal.
The beginning of the program was on a slow note because the US provided the Tehran Nuclear research Center (TNRC) with small portions of 5Mwt Research Reactor that would be fuelling the entire development. The ambition of Iran in coming up with a highly developed nuclear plant was against the interest of US as the country would be coming up with a sophisticated weapon that would be causing mass destruction. This resulted in failed Iran diplomacy because of the disagreement that they were continually having in relation the nuclear knowledge that Iran was thinking of making
Despite the hard nature that Iran was facing in regards to the development of nuclear technology it never lost hope and in the following Five years Iran had concluded several nuclear technology contracts and was already supplying nuclear equipment to foreign countries. Additionally, Iran was the only country that was offering nuclear education to those who were concerned in learning things to nuclear technology
Most of the atomic talents escaped the republic in the wake of Iran revolution and this certainly affected the atomic technology in Iran. This loss that was compounded by Ayatollah resulted in the nuclear fragmentation quoting the proof that the nuclear expansion is a form of Iran human Right Abuse. The insurgency that had started in Iran was the chief impediment that was encumbering the nuclear business in Iran and most of the overseas countries like the US was not also in covenant with the production of the atomic programs that the country had started selling to other countries like Europe.
Recently the US congress decides to hold Obama responsible for passing the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 which required the president to have his certification with the deal to congress after 90 days. However after the election of President Trump he used this as his campaign tool that he would dismantle that deal with Iran.
